About the Opportunity
AWS Student Builder Group, Chandigarh University – Uttar Pradesh, is inviting applications from enthusiastic and confident students for the roles of Anchor and Speaker. This opportunity is open to all students, regardless of gender, who are interested in public speaking, event hosting, technical communication, and community engagement. Selected members will get opportunities to host events, introduce speakers, engage with the audience, deliver sessions, and represent the AWS Student Builder Group during community activities. We are looking for students who are confident, responsible, willing to learn, and comfortable communicating with an audience.
Responsibilities
- •Anchor:
- •Host and manage AWS SBG events and sessions.
- •Welcome and introduce speakers and guests.
- •Handle event transitions and audience engagement.
- •Maintain proper coordination during events.
- •Communicate confidently with participants.
- •Speaker:
- •Deliver technical or non-technical sessions based on expertise.
- •Prepare clear and engaging presentations.
- •Explain concepts in a student-friendly manner.
- •Conduct workshops, talks, or knowledge-sharing sessions.
- •Interact with participants and answer relevant questions.
- •Common Responsibilities:
- •Act professionally during official AWS SBG activities.
- •Coordinate with the organizing team.
- •Support the successful execution of community events.
Required Skills

- •Open to male and female students.
- •Students from Chandigarh University – Uttar Pradesh can apply.
- •Open to students from any year or branch.
- •Students interested in anchoring, public speaking, technical communication, or community activities are encouraged to apply.
- •No prior professional experience is required.
- •Applicants should be confident, responsible, and willing to actively contribute to AWS Student Builder Group activities.
- •Application Requirement: Applicants are required to submit a 30–60 second introduction video through a Google Drive link. The video should briefly introduce the applicant and explain why they are interested in the Anchor/Speaker role. Please ensure the Drive link is accessible for viewing.
